Photography requires a well-trained eye, excellent technique and a lot of luck. Sometimes, when the timing works out perfectly, that hard work can result in hilarious photos. That's certainly the case for all 40 finalists of the 2017 Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards, an annual contest that aims to put a spotlight on wildlife conservation efforts while showcasing the humor in the world of wildlife photography.
