Explorer Ventures Announces Addition to Fleet, Extension of 15th Anniversary Savings

The newly-remodeled 18-passenger Turks & Caicos Explorer, the most recent addition to Explorer Ventures' award-winning live-aboard dive fleet, will begin service from Providenciales, Turks & Caicos Islands, in mid October 2003. The vessel will join Caribbean Explorer II, diving Saba, St. Kitts and Statia in the northeastern Caribbean, and Nimrod Explorer, diving the Ribbon and Far Northern Reefs from Cairns and Cooktown, Australia, in providing the unique live-aboard diving experiences which the company began offering in 1987.
The vessel sports a completely redesigned dive deck with easy-access stairs to the dive platform, new upper-deck staterooms with private facilities, indoor as well as open-air salons, and nitrox capability. Pricing for the 7-day diving expeditions will start at $1,195 per person/double occupancy for cabins with shared facilities during the low season, and range up to $1,595 per person for double staterooms with private bathrooms during the high season.
Explorer Ventures has also extended its repeat-passenger savings, available to anyone who has ever traveled aboard one of their vessels, through the end of 2004. Under the program, repeat passengers can save 20% on their package price for each dive buddy that they travel with who has never been on an Explorer Ventures boat.
