It just underscores yet again why we always tout the phrase "Built Pelican Tough."

I just wanted to write a letter of thanks for making such a great product. I bought the 1150 case to protect my digital camera while I am serving in Afghanistan. On 06OCT04, my vehicle suffered an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) attack. I was sitting in the front passenger seat and my case was located on the floor between my feet. The explosion happened directly under my feet, ripping the entire engine compartment apart. It took the hood of the vehicle (weighing approximately 200+ pounds) and threw it 400 feet into the air and about 70 feet from the vehicle. >From all the eyewitness accounts, the device was at least one anti-tank mine, but possibly more than one. If it wasn't for the 1150 case, I might not be writing you about this.
