As usual October 31 brought out all kinds of characters - all over the world. On October 31 in Yap Island, Micronesia (which was October 30 in the United States) Captain Hook made a surprise appearance. Actually Captain Hook was part of the Halloween Haunted House constructed in the bowels of the 170 ft south seas sailing yacht, S/V Mnuw. Normally the Mnuw (which means Sea Hawk in Yapese) serves as the Restaurant and Bar for the guests of Manta Ray Bay Hotel and Yap Divers, but on Halloween she took on the added role of Yap Island, Micronesia 's Haunted House.

As per Captain Hook "The haunted house was EXCELLENT! A great time had by all." When asked about the rest of the crew, Hook replied "I believe Wendy and Peter Pan were last seen diving with the mantas in Mi'l Channel."
