Red Sea Aggressor
The 120-foot ship formerly known as the M/V Excel was renamed the Red Sea Aggressor in September when it became the newest member of Aggressor's worldwide fleet of scuba diving yachts.Up to 20 divers can stay in the live-aboard's 10 elegant cabins, which come with individual climate controls and ensuite bathrooms. Diving amenities include Nitrox, rental scuba and underwater photo equipment and an onboard E-6 photo lab.From May through August, the Red Sea Aggressor departs from Hurghada on seven- and 10-day tips to the southern Red Sea.The ship leaves out of Sharm El Sheik from September through April on seven-day excursions that include stops at Ras Mohammed, the Straits of Tiran and the Thistlegorm wreck.Captained by Ramy Refaat, the Red Sea Aggressor is the only live-aboard operating in the Red Sea with U.S.-approved insurance coverage.
