Enjoy the freedom of TTL flash exposure underwater. Ikelite's housing for the Olympus C-8080 includes a TTL Microcontroller to utilize the outstanding Olympus TTL flash system. When this housing is connected to either the Ikelite DS50 or DS125 Substrobes with a sync cord the Microcontroller provides actual Olympus TTL exposure as dictated by the camera. This also saves the battery power, as the camera's built-in flash is not required. Single or dual DS Substrobes can be used.

The housing provides controls for every camera function when underwater. The LCD information screen on top of the camera is easy to see, as is the LCD monitor. A comfortable Release Handle and Tray are included allowing easy attaching and removal of Ikelite mounting arms at the touch of a button. The housing's thick walls are molded of corrosion-free clear polycarbonate and operate safely to 200 feet (60 meters). The camera and housing's complete weight is less than 7 pounds.

Extend the versatility of the C-8080 with Ikelite's optional Dome Port No. 9306.38 for the Olympus WCON-08C Wide Conversion Lens. The dome maintains the lens' wide-angle coverage underwater and provides maximum sharpness. The unique design of this port mounts the Olympus WCON-08C without using the Olympus CLA7 lens adapter. This allows the camera to be installed and removed freely in the housing without removing the wide-angle lens and port. The dome port can be used with just the camera's zoom lens for increased coverage underwater.

For users who prefer manual flash exposure, the Ikelite DS50 and DS125 SubStrobes can be used with the EV-Controller, which provides 10 manual power settings in half-stop increments for precise illumination, and requires a sync cord. Non-DS Ikelite SubStrobes can be used in manual mode when used with a sync cord.
