Mike Ball Dive Expeditions is heading towards a major milestone…40 years of service to the international dive community! Making divers smile since 1969, Mike Ball is incredibly proud to look back over 40 years of leading the liveaboard dive industry with innovations such as: the safe solo diver program, open dive decks, and more recently the introduction of "Lost Diver Recovery Devices".

The first liveaboard operator to be inducted into the Scuba Diving Hall of Fame, Mike continues to act as CEO and is often on hand personally welcoming guests. "When we first opened our dive school in Townsville we were the first Australian dive centre to have buoyancy control devices and air pressure gauges as standard on all our equipment…forty years later we are still proud to be achieving firsts and setting higher standards in quality and safety."
