From shaving their heads to going abseiling, divers everywhere are embracing Project AWARE’s latest campaign: My Ocean Challenge.

Ocean protection is close to many divers’ hearts. My Ocean Challenge gives you an opportunity to support a clean and healthy ocean. The challenges facing endangered marine species, big and small, have never been more pressing. My Ocean Challenge helps you tackle two of the biggest challenges faced by our ocean: marine debris and over-exploitation of sharks and rays.

If you fancy running a marathon like Andy Cross in Phuket, Thailand or swimming around an island like Bryan Avery in Koh Tao, start your My Ocean Challenge today. It’s a great way to raise awareness about endangered marine species and ocean protection. And you can have some fun at the same time.

But your challenge needn't be as extreme as Andy or Bryan. Domino Albert, Communications Manager at Project AWARE, set herself a month-long challenge to pick up rubbish on her way to work and she raised almost $500.

Whatever your challenge is, your support helps tackle some of the ocean’s toughest problems, in our favourite dive sites, our communities, and at the highest levels of international policy.
