The mystery destination is: KOMODO, Indonesia

Clue #1: **This Indonesian diving hotspot was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site & Man and Biosphere Reserve in 1986.

Located between the islands of Sumbubwa and Flores, Komodo National Park consists of Komodo, Rinca & Padar islands and many smaller islands in between. The Park contains many diverse marine environments including coral reefs, mangroves, seagrass beds, seamounts, and semi-enclosed bays. These habitats harbor more than 1,000 species of fish, some 260 species of reef-building coral, and 70 species of sponges.

Clue #2: The area is home to one of the World’s largest and most deadly lizards.

Komodo Dragons, otherwise known as Komodo Monitors grow to a maximum of 15ft and can weigh up to 150lbs. Despite their size they have amazing agility and will ambush prey including deer and buffalo. Their poisonous saliva debilitates prey and using its keen sense of smell can detect carrion up to 5.5 miles away. They can swim too!

Clue #3: Tiny crustaceans Cyproidea commonly referred to as “Lady Bugs” can be found here.

The area of Nusa Kode, south of Rinca Island, is famed for being home to a wide variety of invertebrate species not least the tiny Cyproidea or “Lady Bugs” found at sites including Cannibal Rock, Crynoid Wall and Yellow Wall. Hard to spot its recommended divers bring a magnifying glass on the dive to view these creatures properly.
