To celebrate PADI's Women's Dive Day, the female divers who work on Scuba Diving magazine are sharing some of their favorite moments underwater. Here's to all of the women in diving, especially the trailblazers who dared to explore and those who continue to make significant contributions in the areas of marine conservation, dive medicine, and ocean exploration. Patricia Wuest, Editor-in-Chief, Sport Diver and Scuba Diving

Patricia has been diving for 22 years and started as an editorial assistant on Scuba Diving magazine in 1992, a few months after it launched in June. In P's words: "I like doing everything like a girl. Bring. It. On." Here she is diving on Grand Cayman's Kittiwake. Read her story about why the Cayman Islands are so much fun to visit here.

Mary Frances Emmons, Deputy Editor, Scuba Diving and Undersea Journal magazines

Scuba Diving's deputy editor Mary Frances Emmons is a shark-diving junkie — check out her adventures with silkies in Cuba or tigers in Fiji, to name a few — but there’s really no kind of diving she doesn’t love. Certified in 2006, she joined Bonnier Corp. in 2009 and has been lucky enough to travel the world since, diving from Indonesia to South Africa and everywhere in between. An AOW diver, she recently got drysuit-certified, to get ready for that polar dive trip of her dreams, if she ever gets the chance. Besides writing and shooting video for Scuba Diving and scubadiving.com, she is a test team diver for ScubaLab; she’s pictured here on a ScubaLab TV shoot at the Exumas’ famous Washing Machine dive site in the Bahamas.

Melissa Smith, Managing Editor, Scuba Diving and Undersea Journal magazines

Melissa has been diving for two years, and she has worked up through her Rescue Diver certification. Born and raised in Florida, she's always felt connected to the water. Melissa wants to help protect the world's oceans and freshwater sites — and to further the sport of scuba, from inspiring new divers to get certified to staying on top of innovations in equipment. One way she loves to do this is by testing gear for ScubaLab!

Becca Hurley, Digital Editor, Scuba Diving and Sport Diver magazines

Becca has been diving since she was old enough to become certified and joined Scuba Diving and Sport Diver in 2014. She is a certified rescue diver and one of these days she swears to finish her divemaster certification. You might notice her from her frequent appearances in ScubaLab TV. She is also a member of the ScubaLab test team. Becca can often be heard reminiscing about her trip to Raja Ampat last year or talking about her new-found passion for underwater photography.
