Huish Outdoors Recalls Zeagle BCs Due to Drowning Hazard

More than 3,000 units of the Zeagle Sport BC have been recalled by Huish Outdoors, owner of Zeagle Systems, Inc., due to a problem with the inflators of some units sold between August 2015 and July 2018. The buttons on the Zeagle Sport BC inflator can break or fracture, leading to a rapid loss of air or auto inflation of the BC according to a report by U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. This defect poses a drowning hazard to scuba divers.

Models affected include Sport Base, Sport Resort, Sport Base Plus, and Sport Focus. The serial numbers are located on the inside of the BCD pocket.
