Southwest Airlines Now Offering Low-Cost Flights to Hawaii

Get excited, West Coast divers, because Southwest Airlines is officially flying to the Hawaiian Islands. Service will start as early as March 17, 2019, with $49 one-way flights departing from Oakland, California.
According to Southwest's website, the airline has scheduled flights departing from eight California locations: Los Angeles, Ontario, Orange County, Long Beach, Burbank, San Diego, San Jose and Oakland.
Direct flights to Kona, Maui and Oahu are available, depending on your city of departure.
Inter-island service will begin April 28 between Oahu and Maui, and on May 12 the airline plans to begin service between Oahu and Kona. These flights are now available to purchase, with some one-way fares as low as $29.
