Siren Fleet To Offer PADI Rebreather Scuba Courses

In 2012, Worldwide Dive and Sail will offer guests an opportunity to take two of PADI’s revolutionary new scuba courses: “Rebreather Diver” and “Advanced Rebreather Diver.” Sirens six yachts sailing Southeast Asia will be outfitted with Poseidon MKVI rebreathers, the world’s first fully automated, fully closed-rebreather which, with along with the PADI training model, will be suitable for recreational diving.

The liveaboards will have the Poseidon MKVI units onboard and available, both for the PADI rebreather scuba courses as well as rental units for certified rebreather divers. PADI Course Director Thomas Erbe will be traveling between Thailand, the Maldives, Philippines and Indonesia to introduce the “Rebreather Revolution” and train all Cruise Directors to instructor level.
