PADI Offices have introduced four brand new technical diver level courses for Tec divers. The existing Tec Deep Diver course has been divided up to now consists of three subcourses: Tec 40, Tec 45 and Tec 50. The number in each course corresponds with the maximum depth qualification (in metres) for that level. The overall training is very similar to the old Tec Deep Diver course, though resequenced to meet the new training levels. In addition, some emergency simulations have been adjusted to more directly address issues observed in practice.

We've also added Tec Trimix 65 which provides an intermediate step between Tec 50 and Tec Trimix Diver and is intended for tec divers who are interested in getting started with trimix (depth is limited to 65 metres/210 feet).
