LEMON SHARK
Tiger Beach, Bahamas
"While night diving, the lemon sharks were very active as our shark ranger fed them. I was trying to get some clean shots and was frustrated by all of the kicked up sand causing backscatter. I decided instead to see what kind of creative image I could get having a shark emerge from the sandstorm. This was my best effort."

GREAT WHITE SHARKS Isla Guadalupe, Mexico
"Great white sharks spend the majority of their lives solitary. The Mexican population of great white sharks spend a few months each year at Guadalupe Island, Mexico, where researchers believe they mate. When so many white sharks exist in one area, it's interesting to observe some of their socializing behaviors. It's rare from them to touch, even by accident, but these two white sharks continually swam in close quarters. In this instance they were touching pectoral fins."

BLACKTIP SHARKS
Sardine Run, South Africa
This was a rare instance in which a baitball was kept together by sharks. Normally, this is a task done by common dolphins. The sharks formed a cage around the ball, and openings at the top were sealed shut by Cape gannets in the blink of an eye.
