Video Buzz: Cat Makes Friends with Dolphins

Although we're not usually big fans of the numerous animal videos that are all over the web showing kittens, puppies, and other animals doing cute stuff for the camera, this video of a cat playing with two dolphins is pretty crazy. And since it involves one of our favorite marine mammals, it's also semi-relavant.
Evidently, the dolphins and the cat were residents of a marine park in Islamorda Florida, called Theater of the Sea. The dolphins were held in an ocean-fed lagoon at the park, and whenever the cat held its paw over the water, they would come to the surface to play. While it's typically unusual for cats to be this comfortable around water, this one doesn't seem to mind either the water or the big sea creatures in it — and the dolphins seem just as excited about their feline buddy.
We should note that in Florida feeding or harassing wild dophins is a crime, so we're certainly not suggesting anyone go out and try this with their own pets (don't want you or Fluffy to end up in jail). And for those who think keeping dolphins in captivity is wrong, the Theater of the Sea states that many of their animals are "non-releasable as a result of imprinting and/or injuries sustained in the wild."
