Windjammer's "Pirate Week" Promises to the Party of the Decade
For over 50 years Windjammer Barefoot Cruises has proudly held the moniker of the "pirate of the cruise industry." Never will this reputation be more apt than the week of October 27, 2003 when the entire fleet will celebrate "Pirate Week" with Windjammer's traditional swashbuckling flair. No children will be booked for this special party week.
"While we've enjoyed Pirate costume parties on our ships for over 50 years, the idea of a 'Pirate Week' is new in 2003," said Susan Burke, president of Windjammer. "Halloween week seemed to be a natural time for it. And, with no children onboard, shipmates can really cut loose with some swashbuckling fun on the high seas that only a Windjammer cruise can provide."
These six-day party cruises beginning October 27th on Polynesia, Yankee Clipper, Mandalay, Panama and Legacy will allow shipmates to live out their greatest buccaneer fantasies and enjoy costumes and parties galore.
Standard fares begin at $800 per person "Pirate Week" and include onboard accommodations, all meals, onboard entertainment and select drinks including early morning Bloody Mary's, afternoon rum swizzles, various wines, coffee and tea.
