World’s Deepest Pool to Open in Poland This Year
The world’s deepest pool is set to open in Poland later this year.
Deepspot is said to be 148 feet deep and will hold enough water to fill 27 Olympic short-course swimming pools. The pool will be open to the general public, including scuba divers, and is located in the town of Mszczonow — about 25 miles from Warsaw, Poland.
According to the Deepspot Facebook page, there will also be an underwater viewing tunnel for guests who are not diving in. The pool is intended to appeal to all levels of divers, from first-timers to scuba diving professionals.
Currently, the world’s deepest pool is the 131-foot-deep Y-40, which is located at Hotel Terme Millepini in Italy.
You can follow the Deepspot construction at the pool’s Facebook page.
