To top it off, dive trips can include a visit to Jellyfish Lake to snorkel with millions of sting-less jellyfish, and an opportunity to dive with the chambered nautilus often referred to as a "living fossil". 3. Palau is located at approximately 7.20 North x 134.00 East on the very western edge of the island chain know as the Caroline Islands. Palau's East Coast marks the western edge of the vast Pacific Ocean while its West Coast marks the start of the Philippine Sea.
