PERFORMANCE
The DG-03 is a full-feature, air-integrated computer at a moderate price. The system allows for programming up to three gases as well as “on the fly” adjustment of nitrox percentage. In addition to the normal and gauge dive modes, the DG-03 includes a dedicated Free Dive mode. Some of our testers found the Hollis interface difficult to navigate and counter-intuitive when adjusting computer settings and parameters, and most felt the main dive screen could have been improved. Testers said the alternate data screens were easy to access, and liked the intensity of the system's backlighting.

LIBERAL OR CONSERVATIVE Moderate to conservative. To make the system more conservative, there is a user-adjustable safety factor.

BOTTOM LINE Users might find the interface confusing, but the DG-03 provides a lot of capability at a reasonable cost.
