Oris Supports Conservation of the Red Sea's Coral Reef


The Oris Aquis Red Limited Edition, dedicated to the ongoing support of marine life projects, is a tribute to the Red Sea's wondrous depths, and a call to arms for its preservation. With the new Oris Aquis Red Limited Edition, Oris is supporting the Red Sea Environmental Centre’s work to protect one of the world’s top diving sites by providing two scholarships. This year, Oris and the RSEC are pleased to provide the two Oris Red Scholars, Justine Arnold and Tim Fuhrmann, with scholarships for the upcoming Dahab Reef Monitoring Project.

Oris Red Scholarship Includes:
• 5 weeks package for the RSEC conservation project (incl. accommodation, 40 project dives, training, airport shuttles and 1 boat trip)
• Dive equipment rental for 5 weeks
• Your own personal Oris dive suit
• Your own personal Oris Aquis Red Limited Edition watch

Oris Red scholarship applicants should have the following profile:
• Be a student (preferably of Marine Science or a related field, but not obligatory)
• Be a diver (optional the applicant could learn to dive prior to the project)• Be highly motivated
• Good writing skills in English• Enjoy blogging on social media

Oris Red Scholars commit themselves to:
• Fully support RSEC’s conservation project
• Regularly blog about the scholarship, research progress, travel and diving experiences in written form and with media to the Oris online community and RSEC’s discussion board
• Agree to the global use of all media output (pictures, video, etc.) by Oris and RSEC
• Deadlines for application: 1-1-2015
• Next projects: Dahab Reef Monitoring 2-26 - 4-2-2015
