Mickey Charteris will be guest lecturer at Anse Chastanet Resort and Scuba St.Lucia from August 13 to 27, 2022. Featuring daily presentations and workshops, guests will learn about the art of underwater photography, understanding feeding strategies, fish friendships and even reproductive strategies of the species that inhabit the reef. Mickey’s book, "Caribbean Reef Life: A Field Guide for Divers," has sold over 100,000 copies and is now in its third edition.

Scuba divers who stay at Anse Chastanet between August 21 and 23 might experience the beauty of the annual coral spawning, an unforgettable natural spectacle. Mickey Charteris will be on-hand to answer guests’ questions and explain the importance of this annual event in maintaining the future of the ecosystem.

During their stay, guests can partake in other resort activities, whether they are on land or at sea. The pristine reefs just off shore start in shallow waters so that they can also be enjoyed by snorkelers. There are several restaurants to choose from, including an entirely vegan eatery using produce from the resort’s organic farm. Anse Chastanet also offers half day and full day sailing on the resort yacht and there is a range of carefully curated island excursions which can be booked with the concierge.
