Sweet Bottom Dive Center, a full-service PADI Five Star Instructor Development Center on St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands, is known for small groups, attention to safety, and personalized dive experiences. It has two locations on the north shore: the famous Cane Bay beach, home to a colorful, sheer wall accessible from shore, and at the Carambola Beach Resort on the island’s western end, offering another stellar shore wall dive.

End to end, St. Croix is a shore divers’ paradise, with wall sites all along the north coast. Out west, the town of Frederiksted delivers the five wrecks of Butler Bay, accessible by shore, and the Frederiksted Pier. Sweet Bottom allows guests to build custom packages to include any mix of shore dives and snorkel trips that add up to their best dive getaway yet.

2025 Readers Choice Awards

The U.S. Virgin Islands earned accolades in nine categories this year, including Shore Diving, Wall Diving and Wreck Diving.
